The Suffolk Business Awards 2024 are now open for entry. The Director of the Award will be awarded to directors who are in their careers, from industry veterans to entrepreneurs.
The applicants must demonstrate a significant contribution to their business’s plan of action and growth, which is backed by proof of determination and perseverance.
“These awards remind us that Suffolk is a great place to live, work and do business,” said Emma Proctor King, head of communications at The Churchmanor Estates Company Plc and judge for Director of the year award.
“Whether you are the leader of a start-up, or the director of an established corporation, this award will set you apart from the rest of the pack.”
The speaker, Ms. Proctor King, admitted that the last few years had been a “turbulent and changing” time for companies and stated that it is crucial to acknowledge the accomplishments of the leaders who have led their businesses throughout the turmoil of Covid along with Brexit.
“This award is all about the personality, drive, passion and proven results of one individual working to create success for their business,” she added.
“Role models convey powerful messages and values as well as goals. They provide fresh and original concepts, and have an impact on the economy and, in turn, draw fresh talent and new competition to the industry.”
“I will be looking for the person who has gone above and beyond for their company, and who can demonstrate a significant impact to their business,” she added.
