TC Consult opens a London office to help drive the company’s ambitious expansion plans.

A Cardiff-based company that provides development, project, and cost management has established a new office within London in line with its ambitious expansion plans.

TC Consult celebrated its 15th anniversary this month and has expanded its reach to Hoxton, the English capital, for the very first time, getting office and meeting space in Hoxton. This is part of its expansion plan to establish itself as a major UK construction and development consultancy in 2025.

The company’s growth follows the 50% growth in revenue in 2024. This includes securing a five-year agreement with an unidentified historic public sector client to provide around PS33m in construction. Other successes include providing quantity surveying and cost control solutions for Unite the union in the PS3m offices in Dagenham and also providing project and development management as well as quantity surveying and construction, design, and administration (CDM) services to extend the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Story, near Tower Bridge.

Another factor driving the firm’s expansion is the rising demand for ESG (environmental, social, Social, and Governance) real estate investment.

Its wide range of clients includes Aston Martin Lagonda, 3M PLC, and National Museum Wales, and being involved in projects that stretch as far as Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, and Loughborough.

David Champs, who set the company together with Paul Tambini, said: “If you’re looking to expand, it is impossible to ignore London, which is showing to be a much more profitable market than the rest of the UK. Recent information from Property Week shows that the central London office market is showing significant growth. Thus, having a business in London is crucial in helping us expand our business. It also provides an energetic base for our employees who work on projects across the UK. However, they are based in London.

“We have worked with some well-known and well-known clients in London, including Unite the Union and Restaurant Story. Although the two organizations and their projects differ in their approach, they show our ability to serve clients in different industries while ensuring that their objectives are focused.

“We’re confident that our new London location, alongside our plans to extend our expertise in sustainable development and reduction of carbon, will help us to accelerate our growth plans as a business and achieve our objectives.”

The company anticipates that its the number of employees will rise a due to the new office space. Expanding the size of its UK staff between 12 and 20 employees within the next three years.
